My little friend...

Some time ago, I made this cute album about Lisanne's favorite teddybear "Meneer de Beer" aka "Berie." I asked her why she loves him so much and she said: "Because he is sweet (lief), beautiful (mooi), soft (zacht), he is just my Berie."

Lisanne is soooooo happy we have this album back, because it was displayed in Manita's shop for quite some time. When Lisanne gets her new desk in her room, it will be displayed on a shelf above it.

We found out this week that Lieke is in a "risicogroep" for the swineflu (mexicaanse griep). Our government decided that all small kids from 6 months to 5 years have to be vaccinated against that flu. We haven't yet decided what to do. First I'll contact our gp (huisarts) and our best friend (who is a gp too) and ask for their opinions. What do you think?

Next Saturday I'll go to the Kreadoe together with my sister. I am sooooo looking forward to this! I really have to make a list of all the stuff I want to look at and/or buy. Probably have to bring a wallet full of money with me!

Furthermore there is not much going over here....although.....I have a little secret that I'm working on....it will be revealed after the weekend....so stay tuned....

Santa Claus is coming to town....

Wow, I already finished my cute Christmas-tree album with the lovely Mistletoe line from MM, and I am really REALLY happy how it turned out.

There are more pages in the album, which I have to scan, but my scanner is having some troubles (again...) Hmm, maybe I should ask Santa for a new one....

School started again this week, so I have 2 happy campers over here. Both girlies LOVE to go to school. So happy about that!

We have a quiet weekend ahead of us, I love that. Only some swimminglessons to go to, that's about it...we'll be hanging in and around the house I guess...

This afternoon I picked up a box full of yummie Making Memories goodies, which Manita made me! The new Christmas line is in there, and also a lovely christmas-tree minibook...hopefully I can show you the results in a week or two. Currently I'm working on a minibook with great pics of the girls in the woods, I'm thinking to send it in for a DT-call....not sure yet, though!

She did it again...

I received the tutorial yesterday and the awesome Scrap-Club kit today, so I can start making this album!

Last Wednesday I went to Marco Borsato & Friends (for the non-Dutchies: Marco is an awesome singer here in Holland), together with Marloes and her friend Paula, and Yolanda, Jesse and a friend of theirs. It was an AWESOME concert! Not only Marco was performing, but also Paul de Leeuw, Alain Clark, Yes-R, Frank Boeijen, Edwin Evers, Roel van Velzen, Do and Bergit Lewis. We had such a blast!!!

 

This afternoon, the Herfstvakantie (short 1-week holiday) starts! Lisanne has a lot of fun activities next week (drawing/painting class, tennislessons, cinema, going to the woods), so mommy will be a taxi-driver for her....haha!

Cherry Pie

The Cherry Pie event was THE BEST event I ever attended!

We had so much fun, there were so many lovely ladies, the teachers were awesome (hi Vicky, Birgit, Nathalie, Melodee, Natasja and Yvon), the Special Memories team worked their buts off, but it was all worth it! Thanks everybody for making this event wonderful!

Since I was one of the helpers at the event, there was no time for me to scrap. But Manita promised us all a workshop-kit, I choose one of Birgit's workshops, The things they say. A little minibook with all the funny things your kids say in it...LOVE IT!

Furthermore, there is not much going on here at my side of the world! I had a little chat yesterday with Lisanne's teacher. She told me Lisanne is doing so good in her class (she's in groep 4 right now). She even gave her an extra counting book (rekenen, don't know if I have the correct translation...), because the normal book is too easy for her! That made me a very proud mommy!

I'll be back in a couple of days with more pics of the minibook and some cute birdhouses I made (which are for sale)!!!

During our holiday in Orlando, Florida, I saw several cars with those funny family stickers on it....but unfortunately, I couldn't buy them anywhere.

Taking a break.....

Summerholiday has finally started for us! Yeah! Since the girls will be home for 6 (!!!) whole weeks, I don't think there will be lots of time to scrap or blog....so that's why I'm taking a break for a short while.

I wish everybody a very nice summer and holiday, and hope to see you back in a couple of weeks!
